Tour Blog #1
Heys, just a little update on what I’ve been up to latelly. The past 6 days I’ve been on tour through the northwest, played a couple shows in Oregon and Washington. Started off the tour with a show in Eugene (OR) at a coffee house and had alot of fun with some good friends there and pretty much got pwned at the board game, Apples to Apples. The days following I stopped by a University in Walla Walla (WA), a church Silverdale(WA), and a popular venue in Seattle (WA) called El Corazon w/We Shot The Moon.
The next day after I hopped in the van with the band The New Divide in Vancouver (WA) and took off for our 30 hour trip to Kansas. We’ve been driving since 10:30am yesterday(11/10/09) and are still driving, and it’s 10:03 right now, so we’ve been going on for about 24 hours almost, and still have a few hours left. We’ve had some rad fun times together watching Lost in the Van on laptop (Finished all of Season 3 on the trip, starting on 4 now), stopped by the ever so delicious Taco Bell a couple times, and wendy’s, and some unhealthy treats from gas stations to meet our hungry musician appetites. We also have a box of donated Rockstar drinks to keep us awake for the long trip.
This is the first time I’ve ever toured in a van, and I must say minus the horrible gas mileage it’s a little more fun then driving solo in a Prius (p.s. And yes, I do get the Prius jokes daily, haha). I’m excited for the next couple weeks with these guys. Stopping by Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, & California. It’s going to be one rad tour!
